Description

Appearance

Mugman is very similar in overall appearance to his twin older blood brother Cuphead, with his caput reminiscing a mug and his trunk being almost identical to his sibling: wearing a black, long-sleeve shirt, xanthous gloves, a pair of shorts and brown shoes.

What's unlike nigh Mugman'southward appearance compared to his brother is having a blue color scheme to replace Cuphead'due south red, a shorter harbinger, and a much bigger nose. His eyes are smaller and is head is slightly thinner compared to his brother.

If the player chooses "Yes" in the Devil'due south cutscene - triggering the bad ending - Mugman's nose, pants and the stripes on his straw plow indigo, his handle is cleaved, gains yellow eyes with red pupils and black irises, and lost some teeth. He has fire coming out of his head in other artworks and has sharp teeth similar his brother.

In The Cuphead Prove!, Mugman's appearance remains the same, save for a few differences. Like Cuphead, his colors are a bit duller, has yellowish gloves all the time, and his skin has a beige tint to it, and his shoes having an orange tint. He likewise has thin eyebrows.

Personality

Mugman is a joyful person who cares for his brother Cuphead very much. He is more cautious than his older twin brother (Cuphead, equally e'er) and is a bit of a worrier. While he secretly loves the adventures Cuphead drags him into, he often frets about the collateral damage they might cause. He has a somewhat dorky nature and tends to over prepare for a battle rather than jumping correct in.

Mugman is fun-loving similar Cuphead, though he is shown to exist careful and less rash compared to his brother, and acts every bit the voice of reason for him. This is shown when he begs Cuphead to not make the deal with The Devil, as that would finish up costing them their souls in the introduction. (Cuphead went ahead anyhow and the brothers were forced to work with The Devil for a bit as a effect.)

In The Cuphead Show!, Mugman is pretty much the same, merely more in touch on with his feminine side. While he cares for Cuphead, the two of them bicker half the fourth dimension. He likewise has a personality that's part "lovable coward", part "cowardly lion", since, although beingness a timid person, he saves Cuphead from damnation in the pulling his blood brother's soul out of the Soul Brawl auto and restoring it to his body, and has and so far defeated the Devil 3 times. In Sweater Off Expressionless, while Cuphead is secretly panicking almost the Devil taking his soul, Mugman is the one who decides to take decisive action and takes him to Quadratus.

In Inkwell Island, Mugman lived a joyful and low-key life alongside his older brother, Cuphead. One day, the boys wandered far from dwelling and ended up in the Devil'due south Casino despite the warnings of their caretaker, the Elder Kettle.

Eventually, with all of the soul contracts in their possession, the boys see Rex Dice, who is adamant to kill them due to losing a bet. Afterwards King Die is defeated, Cuphead and Mugman then meet up with the Devil, who was pending them in his office. What the pair does next depends on the pick that the players decide. If they give the Devil the soul contracts, Cuphead and Mugman get his personal lackeys and are turned into demonic cups, creating the "bad" ending. If they do not give him the soul contracts, the Devil will exist outraged and battle them.

When the Devil is defeated, the boys accept his surrender and burn down all of the soul contracts, releasing the residents from their eternal servitude to the Devil.
